Excellent shot! I love how you captured the beams of light... Did you PS any of this??? What time was the shot and your settings? (if you dont mind, I am curious to know for future daylight shots, seeing as I dont do to much of them) How do you like your G5? I just purchased a fisheye lens for mine and should have it by 12/23/03, I'm excited about that! If you can, try to get a wide angle larger than .5x... I think you will be happy with the shots as well!

I took it at 5:00:06 p.m. on 10/5/03 at 1/40 second with a 2.8 f-stop (Gotta love the file browser). I don't know the speed. I typically only tweak the levels in Photoshop when neccessary, and I wouldn't pay too much attention to the settings. I only took two shots of this reflection; I didn't think it would come out as well as it did. The G5 is a great camera. The built-in flash is worthless with a lens attached and so is the viewfinder, but then who uses the viewfinder with this thing anyway :)

Well once again, I think it is an excellent shot! Yes I do think the G5 is a sweet camera and you are right, the flash is horrible and the viewfinder is worthless, especially with a wide angle on. I do a lot of night shots with the Wide Angle Lens on and to be able to look through the view finder would be a god send, but of course... Why make things easier...??? Its really all a guessing game for me at night. A lot of sample shots before the good ones come along... Still love the camera though... I would not trade it!
